Are you planning a wedding in Asheville, North Carolina this year? Great choice! We love the North Carolina mountains. And Asheville has become one of the top places to tie the knot. We have rounded up our favorite Asheville NC Wedding Venues to share with you. We are also going to share what we love about each of these venues. So let’s dive in and get started.
First on our list, just thirty minutes outside of the Asheville city limits and sister venue to The Venue in downtown Asheville. The Ridge has breathtaking views of the gorgeous Blue Ridge mountains and its newly added Chateau is stunning. This family-owned and operated event venue boasts of their attention to detail and excellent service. You would never guess that traveling thirty minutes out of Asheville you would fine this stunning European inspired chateau. It’s truly magical with its old-world feel. Darien, who is the event specialist at The Ridge is passionate about creating memorable events for his clients, most exciting day!
The Venue is located in downtown Asheville. The perfect space for hosting guests with a more urban feel. Located on North Market Street, an old school brick-paved road that is a beautiful photo op. The venue is known for its delicious food and attention to detail. Owner Marta is passionate about each and every event. She works diligently to create a memorable occasion for her clients.

Next on our list is Chestnut Ridge located just west of Asheville, North Carolina. Chestnut Ridge is a premier white barn venue that is gorgeous. This white barn is a timeless showstopper in itself. Family owned and surrounded by a family homestead in the idyllic and timeless mountains of Western North Carolina. Believing in a lasting experience for their couples and their guests, offering breathtaking views, and the freedom to dream up your perfect day. The ideal place to make memories.
We love photographing weddings at Chestnut Ridge. There is a timeless and classic feel to the all-white barn tucked in the mountains and rolling hills, but with a modern vibe. The venue exudes an overall feeling of southern hospitality. One of my favorite parts of the venue is that everything is in very close proximity. And the attention to detail in the bridal suite and groom’s suits are impeccable. This venue is for sure a must-see.

Another venue we love, right in the heart of Asheville off the Blue Ridge Parkway is the stunning North Carolina Arboretum! The Arboretum is operating on a special use permit by Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina. For more than thirty years they have been cultivating connections between People, Plants, and Places…amid a 434-acre public garden. One of Asheville’s most beautiful natural settings and picturesque locations for weddings.
The Arboretum is kind of the hidden treasure of Asheville. Its a wonderful oasis of all things plants and nature. A gorgeous setting for any wedding or engagement session. We love all the lush greenery and the ever-changing plants and flowers throughout the year. Most definitely a must-see on your hunt for venues.
Also, located in the mountains is Rumbling Bald Resort. The picturesque community takes its name from the 3,200-foot mountain, Rumbling Bald, with it’s towering cliffs perched high above the beautiful Lake Lure. If you are looking for a venue with it all this one is one to consider. From the waterfront to the mountain views, and even the golf course, there is no shortage of gorgeous surroundings at Rumbling Bald.
The Resort offers on-site catering and accommodations for all your guests.

America’s largest home and estate. Nestled in the Western North Carolina mountains, the Biltmore is a showstopping venue. Boasting 10 different ceremony locations on the property, there is a wide variety to choose from when planning a Biltmore wedding. With a tradition of gracious hospitality and unmatched beauty, the Biltmore is one of the Nations most iconic venues.
Being on the Biltmore property always feels like I am stepping into a Jane Austin novel. I just love it. Everything about the property is absolutely gorgeous. A 250-room French Renaissance Chateau that is truly a wonder to behold. It took six years to build and was open to friends and family on Christmas Eve of 1895. The finished home flaunts over four acres of floor space, including 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms, and 65 fireplaces. It’s truly a marvel to behold.

A family-owned property, historic Honeysuckle Hill sits on nine acres of untouched countryside. Vintage wedding chapel and stables, teeming lily pad pond, and sweeping, sleepy willow trees to greet all guests. It is sought after for its grand mountain views and intimate atmosphere.
