Craggy Gardens Trail Engagement Session
As I was heading to the Blue Ridge Parkway the other day for Kiley and John’s engagement session on the Craggy Gardens Trail. Google maps took me the back way through a tiny town and eight miles on a dirt road to get to the parkway. I got up there to discover a layer of frost on everything. It was beautiful. Kind of like a vision you might see in Narnia. The branches of the trees sparkled in the sunlight.
The parkway definitely decided to show off for us at sunset. The mountain view was gorgeous as always and it was clear as a bell at the pinnacle. Kiley and John were troopers in the chilly weather. We had such a great time talking and getting to know each other. Chatting with these two felt like we had been friends for years.
These two were such fun to photograph. They grew up together in Greensboro, North Carolina. They met again later in life as adults at a friend’s wedding. And are getting married in Asheville in March. We cannot wait for their big day.
