Southern Soiree
I had a pleasant little drive yesterday over to Dahlonega, Georgia for a wedding inspiration shoot at Juliette Chapel. Being peak leaf season in North Georgia, I was swooning the whole drive through the mountains. Once again Victoria Miller hit it out of the park with her styling goodness. This southern wedding soiree gave me all the Gadsby feels. All the vendors for this shoot were amazing. Every detail came together perfectly!
I love the inspiration for this shoot with the nodes to a past era. Depicting a sense of the roaring 20s and Jazz periods. A very classy event with fabulous florals and the perfect place settings on the Reception table. My favorite details personally were the fox on the Invitation suite! And the Cigar bar. Also, I have to mention the venue, I pulled into the parking lot and almost cried. It is so beautiful and how about those fall colors? So pretty!
Juliette Chapel
If you are getting married in North Georgia the Juliette Chapel is a must-see venue. Two simple but stunning buildings sit on the property, a chapel for ceremonies and a reception hall. The buildings are gorgeous modern architecture tucked in the forest of north Georiga.
Owner, Kathleen Skelton had an idea to build a wedding chapel after seeing the Wayfair Chapel in California and the Thorncrown Chapel in Arkansas. The two chapels were her inspiration being surrounded by nature. After searching for land for several years the two of Dahlonega seemed the perfect location for such a venue with its cute downtown and beautiful foothills. The Juliette Chapel is now 5 years old and it was named after Kathleen’s daughter who was three when the venue opened. Kathleen has since opened the Limelight Inn next door with two of her sisters as partners.
