When you plan to be in your hometown and get an inquiry for a proposal, you know it’s serendipity. I grew up in Marietta, Georgia walking through Marietta Square on a regular basis! When Will emailed and asked if I could photograph his proposal to Natalie…the answer was an instant “yes!” We planned to meet earlier on in the evening, but you all know how girls are when we need to get ready. And Will didn’t want to blow his cover by rushing Natalie to get ready. So after a few shots in the cool dusk air (see at the end of the post). Will popped the question and a ring on Natalie’s finger then were off to The Glover Park Brewery to celebrate with a surprise party with friends and family! Knowing we needed a few more photos of these love birds we decided to meet the next day for a few more shots! And oh, boy daylight for a film photographer is everything! We had a fantastic time meandering around Marietta Square taking photos and laughing with the excitement about their new engagement! See some of our favorite images from their session below.
