Ahh! The most gorgeous city on the coast of Carolina. As a Charleston Film Wedding Photographer I revel in every chance I get to be in this beautiful city. On a recent trip to Charleston, we meandered through the French Quarter and down Chalmers Street. Capturing some of the most quintessential things about Charleston, like the cobblestone streets, flower boxes under the windows, and horse-drawn carriage tours that you can spot throughout the city. We made our way over to rainbow row where colors abound and the charm continues.
Staying at The Dewberry in Charleston was a perfect choice! The Dewberry offers a mix of refined yet relaxed atmosphere. We love this vibe! After check-in, we make our way up to the rooftop bar and restaurant and the views are incredible! The fantastic ambiance and a relaxing setting taking in the views of downtown Charleston and the Harbor are the perfect way to start any stay in the Lowcountry!
Lastly, we visited La Pâtisserie, the perfect breakfast spot that will transport you straight to Paris. Right around the corner from The Dewberry. A great iced coffee paired with a flaky croissant was the best way to start our last morning in Charleston. See some of our favorite photos below.
