Long Hollow Gardens Styled Wedding
Back in March, I attended a workshop at Long Hollow Gardens hosted by Julie Paisley. In the past few years, I have decided to invest a lot of time and energy into education. In the photography profession, everything changes so fast so I vow to keep up. Julie went through the basics of how to style weddings for publishing. I learned a lot. At the end of our two days together, we were able to participate in a styled shoot at Long Hollow Gardens outside of Nashville. Needless to say, everything was stunningly gorgeous. When I was little my favorite color was purple. So this styled wedding was all of my dreams come true.
An incredibly unique venue just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, Long Hollow Gardens is a special place. They are a full-service nursery and vineyard, and also an event venue. For over three generations they have provided the best in home and garden. And as far as wedding venues go, a brides day will be gorgeous rain or shine in the greenhouse surrounded by the 35-acre farm.
About the Models
Jamie & Jake as our bride and groom. This was their first time modeling and I’d say they hit it out of the park. Jamie is a stay-at-home mom with a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old, spending all of her days with her girls. Jake owns his own construction company called Concepts By Jake. He does basically any exterior work on houses. He started his company in Mississippi, where he is from and has expanded through Florida and Tennessee as well. The two have been engaged since October.
Amberley has been modeling since the age of 12. She and her husband have a 2-year-old and a 10-year-old. Her husband is also an actor and model in addition to his day job as a production manager. The two actually met at one of our agency offices in Charleston, SC before a shoot. In addition to modeling and acting, Amberley studies herbalism and loves cooking. She describes her daily life is chaos in the best way possible. When her husband isn’t traveling he works from home. They both juggle two kids while perusing their passions.
