Marsala Inspired Hackney Warehouse Wedding
Rain on a wedding day can seem daunting, but when love triumphs it does not matter how much it rains, all that matters is love! Sunday seemed like it would pour rain all day long. But thankfully we were able to dodge the rain showers and get a few breaks with sunshine to boot. We loved spending Sunday with Katy and Nathan. After 14 years together these two are the sweetest couple. Wait! What?! 14 years, didn’t they just get married?
The Hackney Warehouse in Murphy, North Carolina invited us to photograph their Hackney Hoax event, their take on a new and improved wedding expo. A chance to come out and see the local vendors of Murphy and the surrounding areas in action. Since Katy and Nathan were married 14 years ago at a friends house, they loved the opportunity to have the wedding they never got. Katy and Nathan sweetly renewed their vows and got the wedding they always wanted. With an array of amazing talent, the vendors that participated in The Hackney Hoax went above and beyond to make everything beautiful.
About Nathan + Katy
Nathan and Katy met in 2005 at Prince William Hospital in Manassas, Virginia. He is an x-ray technician from Blue Ridge, Georgia that graduated from Dalton State College. Katy a hospital secretary in school learning to be an ultrasound technician. Traveling on assignment right after college they met at Prince William. Falling in love quickly they were married and moved to Blue Ridge, GA from Virginia with their two boys in 2006.
Katy went back to school for cosmetology and works at Serenity In The Mountains Spa. Nathan is the head of the CT department at Fannin Regional Hospital. Enjoying a wide variety of hobbies with their family from fishing, mountain biking, and crabbing at the beach, they also love dinner and movies and Georgia Bulldog Football. Kids keep them busy with football, wrestling, and baseball, but they love every minute of it.
