Each year I hear from some of my favorite families! Liz and her sister-in-law Christy go in together on a family session for the grandparents every year as a gift! One of the best Family Photo Ideas I can think of. Now the parents have never been involved just the kids and grandkids. But I think this is genius! Getting together with your siblings and their children to have a family photo session for your parents is one of the best gifts you can give them. So if you are at a loss consider a family session of your family for the grandparents!
We’ve been brainstorming some great holiday gifts to go along with the Family Photo Ideas. You could get one of the prints from the session printed and framed. A locket grandma would love with a photo of all her grandchildren in it! Have a Christmas ornament made from the photos. A little more on the cheesy side but you could go with a coffee mug, puzzle, or throw blanket. Even I have a mouse pad that donning all my kid’s faces under my mouse as I type this. Haha!
I love photographing these sweet families every year! One its a fantastic break in the hustle and bustle of wedding season. And second, I get to watch all these sweet faces grow from year to year! Enjoy some of my favorites from their annual session together!
