A Hewitt Oaks Wedding in the Low Country

It does not get more gorgeous than a November South Carolina day. The Low Country was showing off for Hayley and Michael for sure! The Mid 70s weather with a breeze blowing through the mossy oaks made for an incredible wedding day. You know its good when we don’t sweat or freeze our tails off…it doesn’t happen often, friends! Hayley and Michael were married at Hewitt Oaks, Bluffton SC Wedding Venues newest addition. A perfect little piece of the low country. Every second of Hayley and Michael’s day was a dream. One moment after another of wonderful perfection.

Starting with an array of first looks. Hayley’s first look with her bridesmaids was the sweetest, seeing all her gal pals so excited to see her in her dress for the first time was an amazing start to the day! Then Hayley Had a first look with her dad and brothers, which I for sure teared up watching. And then her mom, dad and brothers praying for her and Michael before the wedding.

The next first look was between Michael and Hayley and they are the sweetest! I love standing off to the side to capture these sweet moments while they unfold. I also love watching these two’s interactions, which you can see more of here from their Asheville engagement session.

A beautiful ceremony was followed by a wonderful reception with the best food! So yummy! Sweet toasts and the most fun dance party! One of the best parts of the day was working alongside the wonderful Southern Graces team. Hands down one of the best event planning teams we have worked with!

Hewitt Oaks, New Bluffton Wedding Venue

Hewitt Oaks is a new wedding venue in Bluffton, South Carolina and we are in love.

When owner Bethany Hewitt purchased the property it was in great need of a facelift. And now it’s a charming oasis, perfect for any event. Bethany started her wedding planning company, Southern Graces, in 2002. Although Southern Graces has its roots in catering, it quickly grew into a full-service event planning and design company. In 2008, Bethany’s husband Christopher joined as executive chef. Their trademark is infusing everything they do with southern hospitality.
