Downtown Asheville Engagement Session
Can we just take a minute and swoon over how adorable Hayley and Michael are? Ok good. These two are the sweetest, you guys! I enjoyed every minute of their Downtown Asheville Engagement Session! We started in downtown Asheville which was a fun creative change of pace with all the buildings and alleys. And the lighting in these first few images is my new favorite! We then made our way to an Apple Orchard and grabbed the last few minutes of golden hour. And I have to say I love every image!
Hayley and Michael met through the Navigators, their campus ministry at Clemson University. They both went to Birmingham, Alabama where they were working with an inner-city organization. They found themselves spending a lot of time together. When they got back to Clemson Michael asked Hayley out on their first official date to Station Cove Falls.
Fast forward about 11 months. Michael proposed while hiking to a waterfall. Mentioning to Hayley to wait for a second because he felt like there was a rock in his shoe. Taking off his shoe, he pulled out the ring he had hidden in a small plastic bag and said, “Hey look, there is a rock in my shoe!” He proposed she, of course, said yes and they cried and laughed together!
