Alright! John and Kathleen’s Wedding day are the days we live for in our business. Gosh, we loved their day so much. Their Asheville, North Carolina Wedding was incredible! From the vibes coming from the bridal suite to the smile on John’s face getting off the Trolley at the church! This day was one of the best days ever!
We first met Kathleen and John in the fall of 2020 for their mountain top engagement session at Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Click here to check it out. From the start, Harry and I loved these two. Kathleen and John met when they were both fourteen years old and started dating at sixteen. In addition, they dated long-distance throughout college. So as tears of joy poured on their wedding day it was worth the wait.
Wedding Day – Getting Ready
We started at the Doubletree downtown Asheville in their gorgeous bridal suite. Kathleen and all her girls were buzzing with excitement as we entered! And the vibe in the room was off the charts! Kathleen picked the best bridesmaids, they were so fun too! After photographing all the gorgeous details at the hotel and some getting ready shots. We made our way to the Central United Methodist Church in downtown Asheville. Kathleen grew up going to this church so it made their day oh so special. At the church, Kathleen stepped into her gorgeous Anais Anette gown with her maid of honor, mom, and John’s mom. Then she met her handsome prince at the end of the aisle with a huge smile!
After a wonderful ceremony, we made our way to The Venue on a cute Trolley while guests were enjoying cocktail hour. Followed by entrances, the best father of the bride speech I have ever heard, delicious food, and dancing the night away. Kathleen’s dad John and Kathleen had the best band cranking out amazing tunes. They both love popcorn hence the amazing Poppy Asheville popcorn as their favor.
