Sentimental Barn Wedding
Sunday we made our way to Georgia for Cassie and Evan’s gorgeous Macedonia Hills Wedding. We loved every minute of being a part of Cassie and Evan’s wedding day! These two are the most adorable and sweet couple! And some of our dear friends! I love how they incorporated a lot of family heirlooms in their day to honor grandparents and family members. On Cassie’s bouquet, she carried a few different rings that belonged to grandparents that have passed away, and also an engraved heart with her grandfathers writing! Just the sweetest! Posing for several photos in front of Evan’s dad’s Chevy, also the getaway truck, that has been in his family since the day it was purchased was also very special.
A Break From Tradition
They broke from tradition to make some special memories including sharing the first look, times three. Cassie had a first look with her dad. Before the couple met for the first time, Cassie pranked Evan by having her brother dress up in a dress and veil for a good laugh. After Cassie and Evan shared their real first look they also shared personal vows they wrote to each other before the ceremony. Choosing to share more traditional vows during the ceremony.
Another special aspect of the day is that our girls were flower girls. Our 3-year-old ended up with a stomach ache but her older sister nailed her flower girl duties and loved every minute. Breakfast for dinner was delicious. One of my favorite moments of the day was Cassie smashing cake in Evan’s face, don’t miss the photo below. A fun dance party with friends followed by a dress change and sparkler exit was a wonderful end to a perfect day.
Check out a few of our favorite images from the day below.
Cassie and Evan, we are so excited for the two of you. Congratulations!
