Winter Yosemite Wedding
Don’t let that gorgeous sunshine fool you. Yosemite in February, brrr. We were freezing, but you couldn’t tell, could you? Avonlea and Brenden were troopers. It was probably in the low 40s at best, but for gorgeous Yosemite Wedding images, you do what you gotta do. We shot this beautiful couple on our trip to California in February. It was an amazing experience! Every detail was just stunning and the majesty of the Yosemite backdrop was perfect. Yosemite is a place of uncommon and breathtaking beauty. Then add a stunning bride and groom and well you have a fairytale. We started our day on the valley floor with epic views then made our way to tunnel view overlook and watched the sunset on El Capitan and Bridal Veil Falls. So Majestic. Carrie with Type A Society worked her magic with all the perfect details! And florist, Wildbud Co hit the nail on the head with their Yosemite inspired florals. Did you know that there are certain flowers that cannot be brought into Yosemite because of cross-pollination? Just a fun little tip if you are planning a wedding in Yosemite make sure your florist knows the guidelines.
Weddings In Yosemite Valley
There is an array of options when it comes to having a Yosemite wedding. If you are planning a large wedding and need a reception venue then the Ahwahnee Hotel and Tenaya Lodge are both gorgeous venues. For smaller weddings, you might consider the Yosemite Valley Chapel, Yosemite Falls, and Glacier Point. And for elopements, the sky really is the limit just make sure you gather your permit beforehand and follow the guidelines on the Yosemite website.
