The Lake House wedding venue was the perfect location for a stunning fall wedding shoot.
The colors, location, attire, it all says, “Fall Romance.” I loved being a part of this gorgeous editorial at The Lake House. One of the newest East Tennessee Wedding Venues. The Lake House is a gorgeous white building with a lovely courtyard with checkered grass squares. The venue overlooks Boone Lake. It offers a gorgeous venue space as well as a beautiful view of the lake!

The Lake House is the area’s newest waterfront wedding and event venue. Located on the main channel of Boone Lake in Piney Flats, Tennessee, The Lake House is nestled on 22 park-like acres covered with lush trees and florals. The sweeping water views are breathtaking from every part of the property, bordered by pristine farmland and mountain backdrops.

We started our time at The Lake House wedding venue with some gorgeous flat lays and beautifully styled details. Including a beautiful invitation suite from Inquisited. Gorgeous shoes from Bella Belle! And even cake slices just to make your mouth water; I know mine is.
After all the pretty details we made our way to the lakefront where we staged a ceremony set up. Just above the lake is a gorgeous grove of trees where the light streams beautifully through the trees. It would make any wedding photographer’s eyes light up with glee, the light is just so pretty there. So we spent the rest of our time photographing our stunning models in that grove of gorgeous light!
I love editorials because I am able to take my time and really channel a creative spirit. Then in turn that comes in on wedding days for my brides and I am able to be creative with them as well! So photographing editorials really gets those creative juices rolling that I can translate to my clients and it’s so exhilarating.
