Post Office Wedding
When Emily contacted us and told us she was getting married at The Historic Post Office in Hampton, I thought “Yes!” Because how many weddings have we photographed in post offices? Now, one! So how fun to get married in The Historic Post Office? So fun! First, the post office is gorgeous. The facade is a gorgeous alabaster color that is the perfect neutral, along with a light blue accent. We arrived at the post office and made our way up to the gorgeous bridal suite where all the gals were buzzing with excitement. We gathered all the details and got to work capturing the tiniest parts of the day. Not long after the groom and groomsmen arrived Emily and Chris share their first look with gifts along with their very first kiss. What a special moment.
Ceremony Followed By A Fun Reception
After bridal party photos, we head to the church for the ceremony. A gorgeous ceremony followed by Emily and Chris having a receiving line to greet all their guests. Then back to The Historic Post Office to celebrate with family and friends. One of the highlights of Chris and Emily’s reception was the doughnuts! Doughnuts in lieu of cake, yes, please! They had one big doughnut cake to cut themselves and also a pegboard of beautifully decorated doughnuts for all the guests. My second favorite moment of the reception was when Emily and her dad busted out all their amazing dance moves. After starting the Father Daughter Dance with a slow dance they broke into the most fun compilation of music dancing together. It was so fun! As was the entire wedding, after a wonderful dinner, grand dance party, and sparkler exit. See some of our favorite images from the wedding below.
