When stay-at-home orders in North Carolina were just starting to lift The Biltmore Estate allowed pass holders to come on the grounds. So I took our youngest to walk the grounds and see the rose gardens that were blooming beautifully. The Biltmore Estate in the Spring never disappoints. And in the midst of all the chaos in the world, it was a perfect afternoon.
I thought we might not get to go because of the rain that day, but the rain stopped for a few hours while we walked around the property. We probably saw a handful of other people, which is not normal. The Biltmore Estate is generally packed.
But as I look back on the day and the images it’s such a picture of what a blessing and gift this time has been. At first, all the cancellations were really getting to me. But, the opportunities that have arrived in the midst of everything have been wonderful. I cannot name another time that my daughter and I would have been able to go to The Biltmore Estate in the spring with no one else around. Such a blessing.
Also, can we talk about the rose garden at the Biltmore Estate in the spring? If you have ever desired to get photos taken at the Biltmore. One, call me. Two, the gardens in the spring are out of this world. Definitely a must-see.
