Perfect Spring Day at The Biltmore House and Gardens
Cute spring dresses, straw hats and all the beauty of the Biltmore, yes, please. I thought for sure when I decided to take my girls to the Biltmore House and Gardens last week that they would be done and over it within an hour. But they were troopers. They loved walking through the house and seeing all the rooms especially the pool in the basement and riding up and down the old elevator. The Winter Garden was a favorite as well with so many pretty spring flowers. Also where the little one decided she would meter all the light.
Our good friends Cassie and Mariah came with us for a lovely girls day! We laughed and had fun taking photos as we walked the property. After walking through the house we made our way to the garden and greenhouse. As we watched pinwheels blow in the wind and looked at all the pretty flowers, I wanted to remember this day forever. A first of many girls days with just my girls.
Do not get me wrong these two can bicker with the best of sisters, but I can see glimpses of how they could also be the best of friends. They love each other and when I can see them laughing and giggling together its good for my mama heart. My favorite part of the day was big smiles over ice cream you can see below why.
