A perfect bridal session at the Hackney Warehouse in Murphy, North Carolina is what spring dreams are made of. Model and sweet friend Emma is wearing the Devon gown by dress designer Theia. She is a true knockout. We just love this simple and wonderfully elegant gown with a high neckline and plunging back.
A bridal bouquet with yellow and pink blooms and lush greenery set against the industrial exposed brick and ironwork of the Hackney was a perfect match. Also, Emma’s loose updo is very fitting for this gorgeous gown. Along with her beautifully understated makeup. Emma also models a second gown by Jacquelin Exclusive with beautiful lace details and buttons up the back.
The Hackney is a, one of a kind, 1911 brick warehouse. It sits right next to the railroad tracks in downtown Murphy, NC. Used for many things throughout the years, including a wholesale grocer. Above all being fully renovated using all reclaimed brick, metal, timber, and tin from the original building to keep its history alive. The building also sits adjacent to the L&N Depot, built in 1887. The Depot was the meeting place of the Southern Railroad and the Louisville & Nashville Railroad.
The Venue dons a gorgeous open courtyard used for ceremonies, cocktail hour, or outdoor receptions under the stars. And the interior hall is an open floor plan industrial space perfect for dancing the night away. A recent gorgeous addition to the Hackney is the River Station Bridal Suit. It provides a comfortable and intimate space to prepare for your big day.
If you are in search of a wedding venue in Western North Carolina, the Hackney should definitely be in the running.
