First, let’s start with how incredibly cute these two are. I met Emma and Bret last week for a couples session in Hayesville. It was the first cool day we have had this fall and it was glorious. It is finally starting to feel like fall. The wind blowing and the sunshine pouring through the trees. And not to mention the chemistry between these two.
We meandered through the trees and over to Chatuge Dam. All while chatting and talking about Bret and Emma’s story and their long-distance relationship. It’s very evident that these two are head over heels for each other. Their interaction is just the sweetest. They were naturals in front of the camera. It’s always fun for me to watch our couples get more and more comfortable as the session goes on and Emma and Bret were awesome.
A cheesy header I know, but for this sweet couple its oh so true.
After texting and chatting on the phone for a few weeks. Emma and Bret met officially at a Baseball game at Kennesaw State University. Bret played travel ball at the time. Emma decided to go watch his game. After the game, Emma and her brother talked with Bret and became instant friends. The two started dating after Bret first came to Hayesville, North Carolina, where Emma’s family lives to meet them. Over that next summer, Bret became close to Emma’s family while working at their roofing business.
Bret is in college and plays baseball for the University of Virginia’s College at Wise. And Emma is a medical assistant in North Georgia. The two spend a lot of time on the road between North Carolina and Virginia.
Emma says, “I would never wish a long-distance relationship on anyone, but it IS possible and distance means nothing when someone means a lot.”
