One of the prettiest places I have ever laid eyes on. Harry and I arrived in New York a day before Shannon and Phil’s Long Island wedding. Making a pit stop in Oyster Bay at the florist shop we decided we should look since their Planting Fields Arboretum Wedding portraits would be there the next day. Seriously, if I lived in Oyster Bay I would be at Planting Fields all the time. It’s so gorgeous, everywhere you turn it’s like a dream. Especially now that it is summer and everything is in bloom. We went by to scout the venue and I am so glad we did because it is quite sprawling. We first went to the Italian garden and oh my heavens it is stunning. There is a hobbit-like house called the Tea House that sits adjacent to a crystal blue fountain surrounded by a plethora of flowers in bloom. We made our way around the estate visiting the Rose Arbors, and greenhouses.
Wedding Day
The next day for Shannon and Phil’s wedding day we arrived for their first look and start in front of the Tea House. An utterly perfect moment between Phil and Shannon. After a first look, we took a spin through the garden and then over to the Camellia House for family and bridal party photos. The Camellia House has exquisite architecture, perfect for Phil and Shannon’s family photos and bridal party pictures. Shannon and Phil’s Planting Fields Arboretum Wedding portraits will forever be some of my favorites. Scroll below to take a look at our favorites from their beautiful day.
