Mother & Daughter. Some of the sweetest relationships can be shared by a mother and daughter. Some of the most strained relationships can be shared by mother and daughter as well. My girls are young and I have hopes that our relationships will always be incredible. Capturing the mother-daughter bond is so special to me. From sessions like these to sweet moments on wedding days. This bond is one of my favorites to capture. Every time I photograph a wedding and watch a mom place a veil in her daughter’s hair, or button her dress, I get emotional. I know it’s coming for me one day. And this session gave me all the feels on the NC Blue Ridge Parkway.
Mother-Daughter sessions are some of my favorites, although I do not photograph them often. But since I have two girls of my own these are just so sweet to me. Kate contacted me to take photos of her and her sweet little one while on a trip to western North Carolina. We made our way up the NC Blue Ridge Parkway to Black Balsam Knob where we hiked about a mile to the summit to catch some sweeping views! Kate and her daughter were just fantastic! Kate’s daughter Nora is just the sweetest and we had a lot of fun together. Spinning, blowing dandelions in the wind, and taking in the breathtaking views of the mountaintop.
