A perfectly magical location for an engagement session if I do say so myself. This year has drawn us to Washington DC several times and we are quite smitten with this town! The last time we were in DC was back in the spring and we had our share of learning about the city, including getting our car towed in front of the Washington Nationals Stadium. This time our learning curve was trying to find parking at midnight on a Saturday night. One would think it an easy feat at midnight. However, Washington DC stays quite lively on Saturday nights as the bars remain open until about 2 am. So many lessons were learned for The McSweens while navigating Washington DC this year. But the charm of DC far outweighs the lessons learned. Like taking Lincoln Memorial Engagement Photos for this sweet couple!
We met Katie and Paul early on a Sunday morning as the sun was rising behind the Washington Monument. A glorious morning for a beautiful couple. There is something purely magical about a sunrise over the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. The white marble is perfect for Lincoln Memorial Engagement Photos. The light is just amazing and as you walk around all the huge columns the feeling of being so small kind of engulfs you. We started at the reflecting pond and made our way up to those large white columns and then onto some sunlit trees in the park beside the pond. All in all, we had a great time meeting with Katie and Paul and cannot wait until their wedding next spring.
