Lindsey and Darrick Meet
Lindsey and Darrick met on bumble. Their love story is a testament to Bumble’s tagline “Fate is great, but Bumble is faster”. They went on their first date in NYC. Shortly after finding out they had been orbiting each other for about two years. Coincidences like living 10 blocks apart, going to the same concerts, and visiting family at the same time in the same city seemed serendipitous. After five years together their love keeps getting better. They know how to make each other laugh with an endless Rolodex of inside jokes. And how to make each other cry by playing their favorite song!
Natural Romantic Vibe with a Twist of Disco Swagger
The inspiration for their wedding is a Natural Romantic vibe with an unexpected twist of disco swagger. The two come together with the romantic vibe of Savannah, Georgia, and the fun warehouse vibe of their reception venue Victory North.
Their colorful wedding florals are inspired by Lindsey’s 1886 antique engagement ring. Lindsey helped each of her bridesmaids to pick their gowns to reflect their gorgeous personalities.
The couple started their day together with a first look at the quaint little Whitefield Square. From there we hopped on a trolley for a Savannah tour with the bridal party. Stopping at The Old Pink House, Savannah Theatre, Perry Lane Hotel, and Forsyth Park. Followed by a stop at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church to wed. After that, we were off to Victory North for their epic party. A 14- piece band including a horns section that kept the party lively all night long!
