Lowndes Grove Wedding
Visiting Charleston in October was a dream. I loved going downtown and sightseeing, eating good food and getting some rest. While in Charleston I was able to be a part of this gorgeous inspiration Lowndes Grove Wedding shoot. The rich history of Lowndes Grove traverses a revolutionary war invasion. Also the addition of the world’s fair, and a visit from President Theodore Roosevelt.
14 acres of live oaks and river views, this downtown Charleston waterfront estate has drawn visitors for over four centuries. In addition, the estate sits on the banks of the Ashley River and is named on the National Register for Historic Places. The Restored estate offers an exceptional backdrop for weddings. The scenic Lowcountry unfolds with panoramic sunset views along the waterfront of the Ashley River. Lowndes Grove is really an idyllic venue for a wedding! And I am so glad to have been able to experience its splendor.
About the Couple
Janiece and Ian have been together for two years. Janiece is an administrator at the College of Charleston. And Ian is information technology at Boeing. Meeting at the College of Charleston while playing volleyball at an open gym night. The two got to know each other more when Ian started helping coach volleyball at the high school where Janiece coached. Ian and Janiece like to play volleyball together. They also like to go to the beach, play with their puppy, and binge watch Netflix shows.
