One of the things that I still do, even twelve years into owning my own business, is second shoot for other photographers. So there are many photographers that will travel to other states or countries to shoot weddings. When they do they generally hire their second locally. This wedding, in particular, was wonderful. Working this Lonesome Valley Wedding in Cashiers with Krystal was a blast.
Second Shooting
I love when I get a chance to work with other photographers as a second shooter. I like it because it gives me an opportunity to shoot at a location I have not shot at yet. It also allows me to see how others do their job, and how other photographers approach a wedding day. This will do one of two things for me, either encourage me to change how something is done because I have seen it done better or I realize, “Oh I like the way I approach this better.” In anything getting a different perspective is always helpful!
The Wedding in Lonesome Valley
This couple married at Lonesome Valley in Cashiers and it was a gorgeous day. It seemed to threaten rain all day, but the rain held out! The couple shared a first look in the field out in front of the gorgeous mountain view, followed by photos of the wedding party. I especially loved the bride’s choice for her bridesmaids to be in mismatched dresses. A trend we are hoping never dies. The couple then shares sweet vows and joins cocktail hour with their guests. See some of our favorites from this gorgeous Lonesome Valley Wedding in Cashiers below that we captured for Krystal Kast.
