We loved coming together with a dream team of Asheville, North Carolina vendors to create some gorgeous bridal inspiration. We created this Hotel Domestique Wedding editorial as an inspiration of stylish and chic modern bridal fashion. Also paired with an old-world feel. Our aim is to capture the contemporary look of a modern bride with the romantic charm of a countryside villa.
The venue, Hotel Domestique, is a huge part of the inspiration for this ethereal editorial. Located in South Carolina, but taking you miles across the pond with all of its European loveliness. This venue was established by world-renowned cyclist George Hincapie. The name Domestique has roots in the French term for “servant.” This name is often given to cyclists who serve their team and work tirelessly to propel it forward. Much like the group of Asheville, NC vendors who came together to create this beautiful editorial.
Using the earthy neutral tones in the details like the florals and the cake keep the look timeless and classic like the venue. Adding pops of color in the florals and using things like baskets and pottery we were able to unite a contemporary feel without compromising on a timelessness vibe.
Planning a modern wedding with a nod to the old world? We’d love to know all about it and how we can capture it. Contact us today for more information.
