Okay, friends! Today on the blog we are going to chat about bride and groom portrait sessions. This session takes place at a Greensboro NC Wedding Venue, the McAlister Leftwich House. We are chatting today about making the best of not-so-ideal situations. Especially when your wedding day does not go quite as planned. So think torrential rain or a horrific car accident on the highway that makes the bride two hours late for the ceremony, etc. You know the worst of the worst. If you are a bride reading this and you are cringing you should be.
Let me be the first to say as a wedding photographer this stuff rarely happens. I mean like once in my 13-year career as a wedding photographer has this happened to us. So as a bride planning her wedding please don’t panic. This post is more for the bride who didn’t quite have her wedding day go as planned. There is such a thing as a redo! Right!? Thankfully wedding portraits don’t have to be a one-and-done thing! You can retake those gorgeous images! It would mean a little bit of expense hiring a hair and makeup artist, florist, and photographer. But you already have your dress and suit so we say go for it!
Another reason you should consider a bride and groom portrait session is to have more variety in your portraits before or after your actual wedding day. So getting dressed in your wedding attire and heading to an epic location that wouldn’t be possible on your wedding day because of time is an amazing idea. An idea that I know your photographer would be on board with because I sure would!!
