We visited The Ford Field & River Club in Richmond Hill, Georgia a few weeks ago for Jackie and Daniel’s engagement session. What a stunning property! We went at a very quiet time, when not many people were around, so the site was very serene.
“A storied sanctuary in the Georgia Lowcountry, The Ford has roots that reach back more than a century. In 1917 American industrialist Henry Ford first encountered the land. Overlooking the Ogeechee River, this Lowcountry refuge instantly staked a claim in Ford’s imagination. He and his wife Clara soon claimed it as their winter retreat.“
We strolled the property around the club’s main house, which is the former residence of Henry Ford and his wife Clara. Live Oaks surround the main house and drip with Spanish moss. The house sits adjacent to the sparkling waterfront, of the Ogeechee River.
We had a great time meeting and getting to know Jackie and Daniel before their wedding coming up in June in Highlands, North Carolina. Take a look at some of our favorite images from their engagement session at The Ford Field & River Club.
