These two! Good gosh, we had so much fun with Jean Louise and Aaron at their late summer wedding at The Old Edwards Inn Hutchinson House. The Bride’s inspiration is her Grandmother’s blue and white china for her wedding. The bride and groom used her grandmother’s very dishes to eat their wedding meal. Every aspect of the wedding from the invitation suite and florals to the ceremony and reception decor was blue and white. Even down to the couples matching custom “Mr. and Mrs.” Nikes. And it was so pretty!
Coastal Grandmother Wedding Theme
The coastal grandmother theme is one of our favorite trends this season. And this vision fell right into place. We love that it had more meaning than just a trend, but also some roots and heritage. Jean Louise and Aaron could not have been more fun! We had such a blast laughing with them and celebrating with their friends and family. After a rainy start and a little rain during the ceremony, the rain stopped. And we were able to get some more portraits in the garden. We laughed and laughed when Harry broke into a New York accent fronting as “veil guy”. If you know Harry, a New York accent, and me asking him to give the veil a toss for a photo, then you know the scene. One of my favorite parts of the day!
We seriously count our incredible blessings this season! We have had the most amazing couples this spring and summer and are overwhelmed with gratefulness for clients like Jean Louise and Aaron who trust us and are just a treasure to work with. After an intimate ceremony, the couple joins their family and friends for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Take a look below at some of our favorite images from this amazing day!
