Now this Wedding at Hawkesdene Estate full of love and color is one of our favorite summer weddings! We love that Abby and Daniel filled their day with color! From the florals to Abby’s Madewell dancing shoes. After a few months of higher-stress weddings with a lot of logistics, Abby and Daniel’s day was a dream. We started the day by capturing all of Abby and Daniel’s details. Their invitation is a bright and bold delight designed by Swell Press. Daniel’s floral tie and colorful boutonniere are two great additions to the couple’s colorful details. And we just love that Abby chose to wear her mom’s veil that her mom wore in the 1980s.
A Day Filled With Smiles
Abby’s laughter rings as we come into the bridal suite where all the girls are getting ready. Smiles were abundant supply as the girls got their hair and makeup done. After Abby’s mom zipped her into her dress she met her dad for a first look. And on my goodness, the look on her dad’s face was just the best. Next, we met Daniel for another first look and the way he looks at Abby just has me grinning ear to ear. Their love is the best. After taking photos, they met at the covered bridge at Hawkesdene by the creek to exchange vows with family and friends witnessing their love.
All of Abby and Daniel’s guests make their way up to the pavilion at Hawesdene for cocktails and Hors Devours. After a few emotion-filled first dances and cake cutting the couple make their way up the mountain for some epic mountain view photos as the sun sets in the Blue Ridge. Then to celebrate Abby and Daniel dance with friends and family with a five-piece band keeping the party swinging.
