Coty and Chris’s Asheville Capital Club Wedding this fall was one of my favorite weddings this year. We met Coty, the bride at the Inn at Wintersun to capture the getting ready buzz. The Inn at Wintersun is a bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Asheville. When you drive into the property it’s all rolling hills. A winding driveway next to a creek up to the house. Being October the foliage was on full display! Greeting us upon our arrival was Coty and Chris’s sweet pup Bernard. Meanwhile, the girls were erupting in laugher getting ready in the next room.
Coty and Chris shared a first look in front of a quaint waterfall at the Inn. It was the perfect start to their beautiful day. After their first look, the couple rounded off their time at Wintersun taking photos with their families and bridal party. Then everyone was picked up by the trolley that whisked them away to Pack Square in the heart of Asheville. Where we continued our photo session with the bridal party.

Next, we were off to the Capital Club of Asheville where we celebrated Chris and Coty’s ceremony. The Capital Club is a rooftop event space that provides amazing views of the Asheville skyline. And just beyond the skyline is a beautiful view of the North Carolina Mountains! It is a special location in the heart of Asheville. The two shared their tear-filled vows among a small gathering of their friends and family.
In the wake of Covid19 Coty and Chris opted for an outdoor event venue. For their ceremony, they had to downsize their event to 50 people or less. In Coty’s words, she says, “Turns out the key to planning a wedding in a pandemic is keeping your eyes on the prize. Big thanks to those who showed up near and far to celebrate C2, we are eternally grateful.” How cute is it that they refer to themselves as C2?
After a cocktail hour at The Capital Club, the couple and all their guests made their way over to The Venue for the dinner party reception. See the conclusion of Chris and Coty’s stunning wedding here.
