A few weeks ago we got to visit a new wedding venue in Beaufort, South Carolina called Agapae Oaks. Agapae Oaks Weddings is a gorgeous facility on St. Helena Island, just a few miles from Beaufort. Driving onto the property a pecan orchard greets you and a long row of live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss.
As you approach the main house there are several amazing old live oaks and a pond with a bridge. The main house was built in the 1790s and is a picture of southern perfection. With several acres of wide-open fields, it’s the perfect venue for the prettiest reception tent. Marshland surrounds the property on two sides, providing amazing views of the low country marsh. The property boasts 150 acres with innumerable trees including palmettos, Spanish moss-laden oaks, and cedars.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time walking the property, breathing in the salty air. If you are looking for a South Carolina coast wedding venue…you must check out Agapae Oaks Weddings! A low country dream come true! And it’s not far from South Carolina’s coastal gem Beaufort, South Carolina. A quaint town on the coast that flourishes with a fun downtown and many great local eats!
