Nantahala River
I spent Thursday afternoon in one of my favorite places on earth, the Nantahala River. One of the most gorgeous places in Western North Carolina, the upper Nantahala is a sought after spot for paddlers and fishermen alike. I met Spencer and Erin there for a couples session and we had a blast. After spending a little time at the river, we headed back into Andrews to a field where all my spring dreams came true. Not many trees around have blooms yet, but there are definitely early signs of spring here in Western North Carolina. The tall yellow grass and white blooms of the lone pair of trees in the field made my heart so happy. Not to mention Erin and Spencer are the most beautiful couple, we had a blast together!
About the Couple
Spencer and Erin met and started dating in high school and went separate ways when they went to college. Originally at Western Carolina University, Spencer transferred to Mars Hill his sophomore year and they picked up right where they left off shortly after. Erin graduated in December with a degree in business and Spencer will finish his degree this May. Their next plan is to go to grad school together at Western Carolina Univerisity.
Watching movies, specifically going to the movies, are one of Spencer and Erin’s favorite pass times. They would like to own their own cinema one day, so they joke that all of their movie dates are “business related.” Having brunch in Asheville is another thing they love to do together, Biscuit Head in Asheville is one of their favorites. Taking advantage of the beautiful mountains all around us, Erin and Spencer love to go hiking and running outdoors. They like to cook together, which means Spencer cooks and Erin makes good company and encouragement. Haha
