Why We Love this Marietta Wedding Venue
New Marietta Wedding Venue, the Glover Park Brewery is one of my new favorite venues. I grew up in Marietta. Therefore, I was super excited to shoot at a new event venue there. The owners chose to renovate the old Marietta Lighting building, with the community at the heart of their venture. They wanted to make a space where locals can gather and watch football with a great selection of locally crafted beers on the terrace level. In addition, at street level, you’ll find a beautiful private event venue upstairs from the taproom, perfect for celebrating special occasions.
Industrial Copper Wedding Shoot
Glover Park Brewery exudes a clean industrial feel with its sleek concrete floors and exposed brick. My inspiration for this styled wedding was to incorporate the industrial feel with copper metals and blue and light pink accents. I love the use of copper accents, and I think it complimented the venue very well.
Obviously, from the images below, the local vendors that came together for this shoot are incredibly talented. I am overwhelmed with how everything came together perfectly. It really was a dream team of wedding vendors to work with. All who participated can be found in a list at the bottom of this page.
Our Glover Park Bride and Groom
Tori and Brandyn met freshman year of high school. Brandyn was very interested in Tori, but she was not. Both dating other people through high school, they stayed friends. A few years after high school they both found themselves single. So they went out for a night of dancing. One thing led to another. A complete shock to the two of them they began having feelings for each other. So they decided to start dating and to see what would happen.
About two years later they welcomed their first baby girl, Navaeh. At her first birthday party, he proposed to Tori in front of all our friends and family. The two got married almost exactly a year later on in September of 2016. They had their second daughter, Adaline James in June of 2017. Brandyn is a diesel mechanic and owns his own performance shop, Atlanta Diesel Performance. Tori is a hairstylist. They love going on adventures and being outside. And love spending time with their family.
Bridesmaid and Groomsmen
Jana is 23, she just graduated college and is currently pursuing a degree in public health, global. She loves to read, watch movies, and spend time with friends.
Diego is 23 and was born in Uruguay. He recently graduated from Georgia State with a degree in Chemistry. With a passion for helping people, Diego started the global brigades chapter at GSU. As the president and founder, his team was able to take $100K+ in donations and medicine and a team of doctors to Honduras in 2016. He is currently preparing to apply to MBA programs.
