One of my favorite non-wedding photoshoots to do are High School Senior Pictures. First only working with one person in your frame is glorious! It really helps to focus all your attention on one subject! And there is so much excitement and joy around this time in life. It is just super fun to be a part of that excitement. The enthusiasm you feel for a new beginning just ahead of you!
I met Ashlyn and her mom for this fun session at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC. It’s a little hidden gem in Western North Carolina that I love to shoot at. There is so much variety! There is a cute little bridge that at just the right time of day has the best lighting. Some really cool old buildings surround the property! In the spring and summer, there is a gorgeous garden! And in the fall tons of leaves to toss. And right as the sun is going down you can catch a gorgeous view of the mountains and rolling hills. One of my favorite local places for sure!
The three of us had so much fun chatting and taking High School Senior Pictures. Ashlyn also had the cutest outfits! I loved the variety she chose. From a cozy sweater, jeans, and a cute hat to a pretty dress, and of course a cap and gown. I just loved capturing Ashlyn and hope you enjoy some of our favorite shots below!
Are you graduating from High School or College? We would love to chat with you about a senior session!
