In November we celebrated our last wedding of 2021 with the sweet Kate & Brody. And it was a glorious way to end a very busy year and wedding season. Kate and Brody’s fall Hawkesdene wedding was just gorgeous. The two married under the tree-lined driveway with their closest friends and family in attendance. A Monday wedding was one for the books, but oh so much fun. There were several sweet touches during their wedding that I just loved. Kate and Brody lit a unity candle and honored Kate’s father with a photo and flowers on a front-row seat. I also loved that they took the time to have a few photos with their pups who were with them for the week.
Hawkesdene in the Fall
One of my favorite venues in the fall is the Hawkesdene. It’s a stunning mountain retreat tucked in the Smoky Mountains. You can have all your friends and family come for the weekend to celebrate your union all weekend long. For Brody and Kate November first was a lovely crisp perfect fall day. The two were wed in the afternoon and celebrated with friends and family under the pavilion where their choreographed first dance stole everyone’s heart. This was followed by a ride up to the mountain top for an epically beautiful sunset over the mountains with all the fall colors on display. It was just brilliant. The couple then enjoyed dinner while their sweet family and friends toasted to their forever together.
After dinner, everyone broke out their dancing shoes and partied with Mitch from Remix Weddings. What a fantastic way to end our season with such a sweet and fun couple. Check out some of our favorite images from their beautiful fall Hawkesdene Wedding below. Enjoy.
