Asheville Engagement Session
This week has been a lot of rescheduling sessions due to rain. The rain that seemingly is not coming. The forecast for Hurricane Florence said that we would be getting rain all last week, but as the storm has shifted it seems that we will get less rain than predicted. Which I am super thankful for because on Friday I was able to shoot an Asheville Engagement session for Priscilla and Mike and it was a gorgeous day for an engagement session. I met Priscilla and Mike at Biltmore Village in Asheville. First, these two are just the cutest couple! Second, I just love photographing at Biltmore Park, it’s gorgeous. I got to walk around with Priscilla and Mike getting to know them and take some of the sweetest photos of this adorable couple.
About Priscilla + Mike
These two cuties met when Priscilla went to visit her best friend in Greensboro. Her boyfriend’s roommate just happened to be Mike. They went over to the guys’ apartment and she said, “I automatically knew I was going to marry this man.” And sure enough, the two were engaged a few weeks ago. Mike proposed to Priscilla when they went for a hike up to The Cut in Asheville. Mike set up a tripod and pretended to take photos, but instead took video. After posing for what Priscilla thought was a picture, Mike got down on one knee and asked if she would marry him. She said yes. Both their parents met with them afterward and had dinner together.
The two love to go exploring, hiking and relax in their hammocks. They love to make anything into an adventure and have fun. Traveling is one of their favorite things to do, this summer they enjoyed going to Washington DC, Atlantic City, and New York City.
Currently, Priscilla is a senior at the University of North Carolina in Asheville, majoring in sociology. Mike currently plays baseball at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, North Carolina near Charlotte.
