Class of 2018 – Murphy Bulldog Senior
Meet Sarah. This gorgeous girl is graduating from Murphy High School in 2018. She loves basketball and wants to get her degree in Elementary Ed. Sarah is an ambitious gal who will have 2 years of college under her belt when she graduates next May. She has a sweet little girl named Adeline who is the happiest/funniest baby ever. Adeline turned one early in August and “She keeps me on my toes, but I love her to death!” says, Sarah.
Meet Hannah! I have been taking photos for Hannah’s family since she was in middle school. Now she is graduating high school in 2018. Wow! The time sure does fly!
Hannah plays softball for Andrews High School. She wants to go to University of North Carolina at Wilmington or North Carolina State University! This stylish girl loves to laugh and is very much a people person, who likes to be outside and loves animals.
Best Friend Senior Session
Meet Neva and Kilby, best friends who will be seniors this year and graduating in 2018. After photographing this session with two of the sweetest and most beautiful girls, there is no doubt that I would recommend doing your senior session with your best friend. These girls laughed and had the best time taking photos together, it was a blast.
Neva and Kilby’s parents have been long time friends, but it was not until four years ago when Neva moved to North Carolina that they became friends. The girls are like two peas in a pod now. As you can see from the photos of their session they make each other smile, and they are more like sisters than just friends.
These two girls are entering into a time of transition where there will be many lasts this coming year, but how exciting the future that lies ahead?
The following are letters from each of their moms
Dear Neva, 18 years ago I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl – I could not imagine loving you more. But in God’s providence, the highs and lows of life, the laughter and tears, somehow, 18 years later, I love you more. The gift and joy of being your mom is really beyond words. Your life bring riches to mine, your future, God’s plan for you is so exciting…my prayer is that you continue to strive to seek the Lord with your whole heart, your whole mind, and your whole soul. – Your loving mom
Kilby, I feel like every mother’s heart is veined with hope and fear. Hope that her children will taste and see that the Lord is good and follow Him there after. Fear of him not being found. You, my dearest Kilby Lee, have felt his care and knowledge of your soul and you have made it alive to everyone who comes your beautiful way. There is never a soul to be found that is as beautifully untainted as yours. The Lord, indeed, is preserving you with his melodies. CS Lewis said, “What you see and what you hear depends a great deal on where you are standing. It also depends on what kind of person you are.” The Lord gave you a wonderful gift of seeing and extracting the beauty. He has bound you to Himself. I love you so much much much!!!! -mama
Meet Gabby. As a senior she is graduating this spring from Andrews High School. I have had the pleasure of seeing Gabby over the past 5 or 6 years grow into a gorgeous young woman. This creative and artistic girl absolutely rocked her senior session last week. I love every image from this session, the location, her outfit, everything about it was perfect. I was also super excited to try colored smoke and loved that it fit Gabby’s personality and artistic style! Enjoy.
Prom! How fun is a masquerade prom? These guys seemed to be excited and ready to party. The girls were gorgeous and the guys were looking super fly! Some sweet details with these Morning Star Fiber corsages and the awesome masks these cuties got to wear.
What a joy and privilege to photograph these juniors and seniors some of which I have known since they were babies, others since at least middle school. One upside to getting older as that you get to watch some pretty incredible people grow up and become amazing men and women. Also these incredible humans have equally incredible humans for parents who I have had the amazing gift of watching go before me in this parenting thing and let me tell ya without them I would be lost.
Enjoy these awesome photos!
